Knittle and Spencer of Cummings Props. lease 12,500 s/f of lab space to U.S. Genomics at 12 Gill Street

U.S. Genomics has signed a four-year lease for 12,500 s/f of laboratory space at 12 Gill St. U.S. Genomics worked directly with Marc Knittle, Cummings Properties key accounts manager, and Tony Spencer, Cummings Properties leasing property manager, on the lease. According to Knittle, "U.S. Genomics is a perfect fit for this business campus, which houses more than 50 high-technology companies, including Avantra Biosciences, EMD Chemicals, and Life Technologies." Cummings Props. constructed the five-story Gill St. building with high-end finishes, including ribbon windows and a granite and mahogany entrance lobby. Located in a recently upgraded office/research and development park, the building offers 180,000 s/f of office and laboratory space, and is near I-95 and I-93, as well as public transportation.
