Raynham, MA DJSA Architecture PC, a full service architectural firm specializing in commercial and corporate design, has named John Kinney to the position of BIM (Building Information Modeling) manager. He served in a similar capacity at Integrata Architecture prior to joining DJSA. His additional industry experience includes serving as job captain at Ellenzweig. While there, his duties included preparation of working drawings from design development phase to construction phase for a number of projects, including pharmaceutical laboratories. He also served on the Revit (building model software) Standards Committee.

After studying at Roger Williams College, he completed his architectural studies at Boston Architectural College. His first position post-college was with Sullivan Design. In addition to other positions he held in the field of architecture, he was also a senior production specialist for Talbots.

Kinney brings significant background in the application of Revit and other building model software to the field.

The Brockton, MA native enjoys watercolor painting in his spare time. His areas of interest include seascapes, landscapes, and boats. This has been a favorite pastime of his since he was 17.

Dennis Swart, president of DJSA Architecture, said, “We are very pleased to welcome John to the DJSA team. He brings a wealth of experience from his work at numerous firms over the years, plus his expertise in building model software. Our clients will benefit greatly from John’s expertise.”
