Thomas King, CCIM of King & Newton, LLC Commercial Real Estate brokered the sale of Carriage House Apartments for $1.6 million. Financing of $1.28 million was provided by Hampden Savings Bank. The Carriage House Apartments consisted of two 2 & 2½ story brick buildings containing a total of 44 studio apartments located in the center of town. 1162-1172 Springfield Realty / 1176 Realty Trust sold the property to 1162-1172 Springfield Street Realty Trust, II. The sale also included an adjacent one-story single family dwelling that was net leased.
King & Newton also completed the sale of 595 Main St., Springfield, Mass. The 10,100 s/f property was sold by 595 Main Realty, LLC to Glory, Inc. The property was purchased for redevelopment for retail use. The sale was negotiated by Taylor Newton of King & Newton. The selling price was $326,000.
