KeyBank Real Estate Capital appoints Wood as a senior mortgage banker

Boston, MA KeyBank Real Estate Capital (KBREC) has appointed Jonathan Wood as a senior mortgage banker focused on multifamily lending in the Northeast. Wood is responsible for originating loans for the multifamily sector through Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, HUD, CMBS, life companies, and debt funds. He is based in the city, and reports to Dirk Falardeau, KBREC Commercial Mortgage Group regional manager.

“We’re excited to have Jon on our team. He has a proven track record for closing debt and equity transactions across the full spectrum of property types utilizing various sources of debt,” said Falardeau. “As we continue to expand our platform, his experience and relationships will be a valuable asset to our team and clients.”

Wood brings more than 20 years of experience in commercial mortgage banking. Prior to joining Key, he was a managing director at Lument, where he was responsible for sourcing clients and maintaining relationships with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Previously, Wood held positions at Capital One as senior vice president and early in his career as an FHA prescreen manager at Deutsche Bank Berkshire Mortgage.
