Kelleher and Pentore of Horvath & Tremblay sell 52-unit multi-family portfolio for $6.9 million

74-78 Washington Avenue - Chelsea, MA

Chelsea, MA Dennis Kelleher and John Pentore of Horvath & Tremblay completed the sale of a 52-unit portfolio. Kelleher and Pentore exclusively represented the seller, Chiron-Mass LLC and procured the buyer, Maverick Chelsea LLC to close the portfolio at a sale price of $6.956 million.

The value add portfolio consisted of five apartment buildings located at 36-40 Orange St., 93-95 Orange St., 125 Arlington St., 74-78 Washington Ave. and 135-139 Chestnut St.

Consisting of a mix of studio, one bed and two bed units as well as two retail spaces, the properties offer easy access to downtown Boston, Cambridge and the northern suburbs of Boston attracting both families and young professionals. Additional amenities within walking distance of the properties include downtown, MGH Chelsea Healthcare Center, Bunker Hill Community College’s Chelsea Campus, Market Basket, HomeGoods, Starbucks, Five Guys Burgers and Burger King. Chelsea’s Commuter Rail station, the Silver Line 3 (SL3) Bus Stop and the on-ramp for Rte. 1 South to Boston are both located within half a mile of the properties.
