Kaplan Construction honored as Top 100 Women-Led Business in Mass. by The Commonwealth Institute

Boston, MA Kaplan Construction, a WBE general contractor and construction management firm providing comprehensive building programs across Greater Boston, has been named to the list of Top 100 Women-Led Businesses in Massachusetts by The Commonwealth Institute (TCI) for the second year in a row.

“Women-led businesses are a critical component to the Commonwealth’s economy. To be ranked along with these high-caliber, talented business women is a personal and professional achievement,” said Jane Kaplan Peck, majority owner and COO at Kaplan. “Being recognized with this prestigious honor for the second year in a row makes me grateful to have the opportunity to contribute to my community.”

TCI was founded 18 years ago to help women-led businesses in Mass. become and stay successful.

TCI’s membership includes local CEOs, senior corporate executives, directors of nonprofits, and proven solo professionals. For the past 15 years, TCI has created a list of the Top 100 Women-Led Businesses to highlight the achievements of these women throughout the state. Women-owned businesses account for almost 200,000 firms in Mass. and employ more than 180,000 people across the state.

Founded in 1976 and celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, Kaplan Construction’s highly experienced staff has worked together for many years, building a strong resume of renovation and new construction projects along the way. The company’s long history of professional teamwork and collaboration, combined with detailed planning and thoughtful execution, provides clients with optimal results: well-built, cost-effective, and timely projects.
