JSA designs new interiors for Benchmark’s New Pond Village

Walpole, MA JSA Inc., worked with Benchmark Senior Living to renovate the interiors of New Pond Village, a 30-year-old senior living community.

JSA began working on this property with the previous owner in 2012 to reposition New Pond Village with an overall interior master plan looking at all of the common areas and how they could better align themselves for the incoming Boomer generation.

Benchmark, the current owner, continued the plan and did an extensive renovation of the lower level amenity spaces including all dining areas, bistro, bar, fitness center, salon and activity room. The 2018 renovation brings an exciting vibrancy to the property, meshing well with the influx of Boomers who are looking for fresh, clean, contemporary design.

“Interior phased renovations in an already occupied space is difficult at best,” said Sandra Hodge, a principal at JSA, “but we’ve received nothing but great feedback and wonderful compliments.”
