Jones Lang LaSalle wins two BOMA Mid-Atlantic Office Bldg. of the Year Awards
Jones Lang LaSalle Inc. (JLL), had two buildings named as the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) Mid-Atlantic Regional TOBY (The Office Building of the Year) Award winners.
The JLL managed properties recognized are One Financial Center in the Over 1,000,000 s/f category, and Westboro Executive Park in the Suburban Low-Rise category. The BOMA TOBY Awards recognize excellence in building operation and property management. The 2009 BOMA Mid-Atlantic Conference Regional TOBY Awards Dinner will be held on March 23rd at the Hyatt Regency Capital Hill in Washington, D.C., in conjunction with the BOMA International National Issues Conference.
One Financial Center, owned by Dewey Sq. Tower Associates LLC, is a 46-story, 1.3 million s/f first class office tower that has become a prominent part of the Boston skyline. The management team includes general manager Wendy Pierce and assistant property manager Angela Morgan.
Westboro Executive Park is comprised of 110, 112 and 114 Turnpike Rd., three first class office buildings totaling 217,000 s/f on Rte. 9 in Westborough, Mass. The complex is managed by general manager Amy Forman, with Charleen Taylor serving as the assistant property manager. "These two properties faced very impressive competition at both the local and regional levels," said Peter DeLuca. managing director of JLL. "Our commitment to best practices, tenant relations, and energy conservation will set them apart at the upcoming international competition."
BOMA Boston (a division of the Greater Boston Real Estate Board) also had Stony Brook Office Park and One Boston Place/BNY Mellon Center recognized in the Suburban Mid Rise and Earth categories respectively.
BOMA Boston members competed against more than 45 buildings in 14 categories. BOMA recognizes excellence in property management through its TOBY program. BOMA Boston represents over 100 million s/f of commercial real estate space in downtown and suburban Boston.
