Jones Lang LaSalle named general contractor for VFA offices

Jones Lang LaSalle Construction has been named general contractor for the build out of VFA, Inc.'s new 27,000 s/f office space at 99 Bedford St. Jones Lang LaSalle is working with project manager Fraser Project Management and architect Visnick & Caulfield (VC) on the project. The historic 83,000 s/f office building, originally constructed in 1874, is also leased and managed by Jones Lang LaSalle representing owner Plymouth Rock In designing the new office, VC has implemented a plan that fulfills VFA's goal of consolidating all operating departments onto two floors. The space on the lower level and floors 3 and 4 will be updated and personalized to meet VFA's needs, while using much of the existing materials, and repurposing existing rooms and spaces. VC introduced dynamic colors in the VFA brand which will energize the space to invoke inspiration and encourage creativity. The project incorporates architectural and lighting features that will highlight the existing columns and exposed brick. "Jones Lang LaSalle Construction is excited to continue our relationships with JLL Property Management, Fraser Project Management, and Visnick & Caulfield to execute a great new space for VFA," said Brendan Boyle, Jones Lang LaSalle senior construction manager. Joining Brendan on the Jones Lang LaSalle Construction team is superintendent Mark Dager and estimator Chris Hardiman. Jones Lang LaSalle recently signed leases totaling 51,000 s/f at 99 Bedford St. bringing the building to 97% leased.
