JM Coull to design-build Waters Corp.’s manufacturing expansion - project team includes Industrial Facilities Design, NV5 and BSC Group

Taunton, MA JM Coull (JMC) has been retained by Waters Corp. to expand its current manufacturing facility. Waters is making a $215 million investment in expanding its manufacturing facility with a 135,000 s/f addition.

JMC has retained the services of Industrial Facilities Design, Inc. (IFDI) for architectural and structural engineering and, through IFDI, mechanical and electrical engineering services from NV5 and civil engineering through BSC Group as part of its turn-key design-build team.

“I am delighted to have reached this point and I can’t say enough about our staff, design team, and Waters staff who have worked so collaboratively over many months as an integrated team,” said president Andy Coull. “JMC has positioned our firm to work with companies like Waters who have technical projects such as this one. We are all looking forward to seeing the transformation of the site and have been doing weekly drone flyovers to capture the progress of the work from start to finish.  This design-build project has also allowed us to engage JMC’s Building Information Modeling (BIM) capabilities, and we continue to see added value from BIM as we move further into the construction phase.”
