JLL Construction holds topping-off for EMD Serono expansion project

JLL Construction and EMD Serono held a topping off ceremony for EMD Serono’s Sagamore Building expansion project JLL Construction topping off of EMD Serono building

Billerica, MA JLL Construction and EMD Serono held a topping off ceremony for EMD Serono’s Sagamore Building expansion project on the company’s campus. JLL Construction has been providing general contracting services for the Sagamore expansion which will span more than 30,000 s/f.  JLL previously completed work for EMD Serono on the LEED Platinum certified Sagamore building.

The $12 million project began in June and is expected to be complete in the summer of 2017. Once complete, the facility will accommodate approximately 120 employees whose focus will be on innovation in oncology, immune-ology and immunology.

“JLL Construction is proud to continue our long-standing partnership with EMD Serono,” said JLL project executive Josh Berman. “The topping off ceremony is an exciting part of the construction process. We look forward to celebrating more milestones with our EMD going forward.”

Joining Josh on the JLL Construction team are superintendents Dan Browne and Brian Leclerc, assistant construction manager Ramon Cortorreal, and safety officer DonPaul Benzaquin.
