Jewett Construction Company, Inc. to contribute in-kind services to Old Sturbridge Village

Jewett Construction Company, Inc. plans to contribute in-kind services to the upcoming renovation of the main collections storage building at Old Sturbridge Village. Old Sturbridge Village is one of the country's oldest and largest living history museums-with historians in costume, antique buildings, water-powered mills, and a working farm-has more than 50,000 early New England antiques, including historic tools and artifacts that are routinely used for exhibits and programs, and for furnishing its historic buildings. The majority of objects not currently on display are housed in the collections building. Renovation, including climate control and security, is to begin this summer. JCCI will donate materials and labor to replace the building's exterior doors. Jewett is a Raymond, NH-based design-build / construction management firm specializing in commercial and industrial projects throughout the Northeast. Collectively, their clients include such well-known organizations as LAARS Heating Systems, NH Motor Speedway, The Grappone Automotive Group, and Lowell Five Bank.
