Jewett Automotive Design & Construction hired to renovate 4,000 s/f Tri-State Toyota-Scion
Jewett Automotive Design & Construction, a division of Raymond, NH-based Jewett Construction Company, Inc., has contracted with Tri-State Toyota-Scion for a renovation of its dealership at 191 West Main St.
Designed by the Curtis Architectural Group, this 4,000 s/f design-build project is the second such facility Jewett has renovated for the client, having just completed a nine-month renovation of its Suburban Subaru dealership in Vernon, Conn. Work includes both interior and exterior upgrades. Interior renovations are to the customer lounge area and include new flooring, millwork and finishes. The dealership will also receive a new service drive and write up area designed to create a comfortable and inviting atmosphere for customers. Exterior renovations are designed to comply with the latest Toyota image program, and will incorporate a new façade constructed of aluminum composite metal panels (ACM) and a grand entrance framed by an updated Toyota portal structure. All work will be carried out while the facility is in full operation—a challenge requiring daily coordination between the construction team and dealership staff.
Jewett Automotive Design & Construction specializes in design/build auto dealership facilities, auto dealership additions, auto dealership renovations and auto dealership fit-ups all across New England—completing close to fifty such projects in the last few years. Automotive clients include such well-known organizations as Long Subaru, Watertown Ford, the Tulley Automotive Group, Olsen Cadillac, and repeat customers the Melkonian Group, Commonwealth Motors, and the Grappone Automotive Group.
