Jewett Automotive Design & Construction completes Belknap Subaru

Jewett Automotive Design & Construction recently completed construction of a new, auto dealership for Belknap Subaru's relocation to 35 Tilton Rd. The project, completed on time and under budget, included extensive interior and exterior renovations to the former on-site home of HK Powersports, as well as the addition of a 1,600 s/f steel-framed infill linking the existing structures and serving as vehicle service entry and tech lounge. Work included selective site and interior demolition, foundation systems and concrete work, carpentry and architectural millwork, insulation systems, metal siding, new EDPM membrane roofing, glass and aluminum storefront and windows, acoustical ceiling systems, all finishes, design/build-from-outline performance specifications HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems, bituminous pavement, line striping and site lighting. The new dealership offers customers a larger inventory of new, used, and certified vehicles, a more spacious showroom and a furnished customer waiting area as well as a service drop-off area that protects customers from the weather. Jewett Automotive Design and Construction has built and/or renovated more than 40 dealerships over the past several years. It is a division of Jewett Construction Company, Inc. —a design-build/construction management firm specializing in commercial and industrial projects throughout the Northeast. Other recent automotive clients include such well-known organizations as Foss Motors, Team Nissan, and repeat customers -the Grappone Automotive Group and Tulley BMW.
