James and David Stubblebine of The Stubblebine Co. brokers $2.82 million sale of 27.5 acres

Billerica, MA David Stubblebine and James Stubblebine sold a total of 27.5 acres to Schmidt Equipment, Inc. and W.L. French Excavating Corp. (WLF) for $2.82 million. David and James Stubblebine, principals of The Stubblebine Co. represented the seller, Mat Beck, Andrew Barrett, Peter Barrett and Maria Rodirgues and the buyers in both transactions.

Schmidt Equipment is a John Deere and Hitachi Construction Equipment dealer for Massachusetts and Rhode Island. They have five store locations offering parts, sales, rentals and service.

WLF is a privately-owned family business that provides a range of construction services including mass excavation, site remediation, heavy utility construction & installation, soil & waste management and snow services for clients throughout the New England region.  WLF’s 40 years of construction experience is bolstered by its team of 150 construction professionals and a fleet of over 200 pieces of heavy equipment.  In 2015, WLF’s annual revenues exceeded  $65 million.
