JACA Architects selected to design ambulatory care facility for Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Needham

Needham, MA JACA Architects was recently selected by Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital–Needham to design a new ambulatory care facility. Construction on the project is expected to begin in the spring of 2018; John Fowler, AIA, EDAC, LEED AP and associate principal at JACA Architects, is serving as principal in charge of the project.

The ambulatory care facility will be located at BID–Needham’s facility.  The facility is expected to meet the outpatient visit needs of the community. This Ambulatory Center will improve availability of premier medical staff, advance quality care in the community.

This is not the first partnership between JACA Architects and BID-Needham; the firm most recently designed their new Breast Care Center, which opened last fall, along with the Beth Israel Deaconess Cancer Center and Surgical Pavilion, which opened in 2014.

“We are excited to work with BID–Needham on this important addition to the healthcare organization’s campus,” said Tony Cavallaro, president of JACA Architects.  “This facility demonstrates a commitment to providing the best possible care while keeping unnecessary hospital stays low.  We are proud to partner with BID–Needham on this important initiative and contribute to the region’s greater well-being.”
