IREM Chapter 51 installs Yvonne Chandler as new ARM

Yvonne Deal Chandler is the President and CEO of Better Quality Management Corporation, a newly formed property management corporation founded in Hartford in December 2008. Chandler is also the executive director of Horace Bushnell Management Resources, a non- profit property management company which was created by the Christian Activities Council 20 years ago to manage its properties. Chandler serves as vice president of the Connecticut Aids Resource Coalition, past president of Upper Albany Main Street, past board member of the Greater Hartford Arts Council, board member of the Corporation for Independent Living, and board member of the Greater Hartford Loan Fund. Prior to the creation of Better Quality Management, Chandler joined the Christian Activities Council in 2001 and helped the CAC in its mission to create home ownership opportunities for low to moderate income families in Upper Albany and northeast sections of Hartford. Before joining the CAC, Chandler held various positions at Greater Hartford Realty Management Corporation during the 23 years she was employed there. Chandler resides in the North End of Hartford with her husband DL. Yvonne has two daughters and two granddaughters.
