205 Burlington Road - Bedford, MA 205 Burlington Road - Bedford, MA

Bedford, MA Integrated Builders has completed its exterior renovation project at 205 Burlington Rd. on behalf of Calare Properties, the building’s owner and operator. Integrated firm provided construction management services while working with architectural design firm Ci Design, inc., to deliver an updated façade and overall improved look for the building.

The renovation plan at 205 Burlington Rd. included enhancements to the existing façade through the demolition and re-construction of the two exterior canopies and renovation of the two current entryways, one of which includes a vestibule. Additionally, Integrated Builders replaced the walkways, re-painted the doors and window frames, and installed Exterior Insulation and Finishing Systems (EIFS) to provide an insulated, water-resistant, finished surface in an integrated composite material system.

“Because of our successful track record in partnering with Calare Properties on other projects, we had a solid understanding of their respective expectations and needs, allowing us to operate within efficient project delivery timelines and budgets,” said Jay Dacey, president of Integrated Builders. “Our team places a strong value on the relationships it has built, and continues to build, ensuring that the needs of our clients are met in the most efficient, effective, and accurate manners. 205 Burlington Rd. is a quality, well-located asset that is strengthened by this exterior renovation plan.”

205 Burlington Rd. is a 51,502 s/f flex/office building situated near key workforce pools and less than 25 minutes from downtown Boston. With access to Rte. 3 and Rte. 128/I-95, the facility is able to accommodate a variety of tenants with a wide range of size and service requirements. Additionally, 205 Burlington Rd. is located two miles from the Burlington Mall, a shopping destination featuring high-end retail stores and upscale restaurants, making the property a top destination for renters in search of premier space in the market.

“With over 50,000 s/f of space available for lease, 205 Burlington Rd. is an ideal destination for tenants in search of a strategically-located facility with convenient access to nearby highways and a diverse selection of amenities,” said Bryan Blake, president of Calare Properties. “With the completed renovation project, our building better presents a professional, polished, and modern exterior that provides an excellent complement to the quality interior spaces. We have a long-standing relationship with Integrated Builders, and were thrilled to collaborate on this exciting project.”

Ask the Electrician: How do I prepare my commercial building for a disaster?

New England’s notorious weather – from fierce winter storms to summer squalls and fall hurricanes – can leave businesses in the dark. Massachusetts taxpayers dodged a bullet when the state Senate didn’t take up legislation passed by the House in the waning moments of the legislative session that would have made it easier for municipalities and state agencies to use union-only project labor agreements (PLAs) on construction projects.
