Hughes named managing director at Tishman Speyer

Boston, MA Tishman Speyer has appointed Jessica Hughes to be managing director and head of its city office. In her new position, she will oversee new developments, acquisitions and dispositions, leasing, and operations in the Boston region. Tishman Speyer’s local portfolio includes 125 High St., One Federal St. and One Channel Center, along with the Pier 4 office development and its adjacent residential project. Hughes joins the firm after a successful eight-year tenure at JLL where she served most recently as managing director in the firm’s capital markets group and a member of that firm’s international capital group. She co-led a team responsible for more than $6.5 billion of transactions since 2013. 

Previously she was a senior vice president at Beacon Capital Partners, responsible for acquisitions and dispositions. She also established offices for Beacon in London and Paris. 

A graduate of Dartmouth College, she serves on the board of the Boston Center for the Arts and on the Urban Land Institute’s Boston Market Council.
