Howes of Delphi Const. elected to board of Community Development Partnership

Mashpee, MA According to Delphi Construction, Inc. director of business development Tom Howes has been elected to the Board of the Eastham based Community Development Partnership.

The CDP is a non-profit community development corporation and supports an array of programs that strengthen the Lower Cape community in the areas of small business development, affordable housing and environmental sustainability.

“I am looking forward to becoming even more involved with this organization whose mission I support strongly. I hope that my many years of experience in affordable housing development and construction will bring benefit to the board, the members and the larger Cape community.” Howes said.

CEO of the Community Development Partnership, Jay Coburn welcomed Howes to the board. “As a state certified community development corporation, the CDP is committed to having broad community representation and the expertise of business and community leaders. We are grateful to welcome Tom and his considerable experience in affordable housing development to our Board. We know that his time, talent and treasure will benefit the CDP and the Lower Cape Community.” Coburn said.

Howes was unanimously elected to a three year term at the CDP Annual Meeting held on March 29 and will assume his board seat immediately.
