Honing skills through Jay W. Levine Leadership Development Academy

Chicago, IL The Jay W. Levine Leadership Development Academy completed its third session June 15-17 in Chicago. The 16 academy participants focused on classes and interactive sessions designed to improve listening skills, collaboration techniques, and creative problem-solving abilities for effective leadership roles within CCIM Institute, as well as in their communities and professional careers.

“With continued globalization, being truly connected and able to leverage national and international networks and resources for your client becomes more of a priority,” said 2017 CCIM Connecticut chapter president Michael Guidicelli, CCIM, of Regions Commercial LLC in Glastonbury, Conn.

“This has been one of my favorite journeys I’ve embarked on in 2017.  Thank you to all of those whom have embraced and supported me through this opportunity; to those who’ve referred and recommended me for it; and to my mentors (including Robert Knakal) for your guidance and assistance relative to the my assignments for this academy. Go CCIM JWL 2017.” (quoted on LinkedIn also by Michael Guidicelli)

Started in 2003 by Susan J. Groeneveld, CCIM, executive director of the CCIM Foundation, the nine-month program is named in honor of Jay. W. Levine, CCIM, the Institute’s first president and second CCIM designee. The program combines a blend of on-site training and web-based sessions that integrate the core competencies for effective leadership in association, business, and community settings.
