Haynes Real Estate to host broker/tenant event at Quarry Walk on October 26

Oxford, CT Haynes Real Estate Services will host an “on-site” Broker/Tenant Open House on Wednesday, October 26 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. to showcase Quarry Walk (Oxford’s Towne Center) located at 300 Oxford Rd. (Rte. 67).

Quarry Walk, recipient of 2015 CERC’s “Celebrate CT! Award” was approved as a Village Center Mixed Use District (VCMUD) in April, 2014. With over 215,000 s/f of retail and commercial in-line and pad sites available and 150 residential units, Phase I includes over 100,000 s/f of leased retail, anchored by the newly rebranded Market 32 by Price Chopper which opened on September 20 joining Newtown Savings Bank which opened in August. ACE Hardware, United States Postal Service, Supercuts, Dollar Tree, Wine Market and Goodwill will all be opened on or before the end of November.

Phase II will be opening soon providing the commercial brokerage community and tenants the opportunity to be part of an unparalleled retail center which will offer consumer driven amenities such as a 1.5 mile walk trail, dog park, community green and electric car charging stations. In addition, alternative energy solutions are being explored and implemented to reduce operating costs for tenants.

Such initiatives include solar panels, fuel cell and/or a micro-grid. These cutting edge technologies are being considered to provide electricity, heating and cooling and hot water to tenants at reduced costs.

WATR 1320-AM will be broadcasting live the day of the event, hosted by radio personality and Commercial Broker Tom Hill, III. Quarry Walk is located on commuter Rte. 67 between Rte. 84 (Exit 15 Southbury) and Rte. 8 (Ext 22 Seymour).

“Quarry Walk has the coolest rock pylon sign” said Kathryn Ekstrom, development manager. "We look forward to hosting this first ever broker/tenant event. Food and beverage will be provided throughout the day and the first 50 attendees will receive a $20 gift card to experience Market 32 by Price Chopper for yourselves.”
