Hampe joins John D. Hastings Commercial as vice president

Ted Hampe has joined John D. Hastings Commercial Real Estate as a VP. A veteran of 29 years in the real estate business, Hampe first worked seven years with N.Y.-based Cross & Brown Co. managing their two offices in Connecticut. Next, he spent 21 years as chairman of H.T. Hampe Associates and its successor, HK Group. In 2009, he was in the employ of Prudential Commercial A graduate of Iowa State University, along with an M.B.A. from Harvard, Hampe has earned the two highest commercial real estate designations, CCIM and SIOR. Prior to his real estate career, Hampe spent 20 years "climbing the corporate ladders," beginning at Procter & Gamble. In addition, he has been active in community service, holding leadership positions in eight local organizations. David Fugitt, senior VP and manager of the commercial division, said, "We are delighted to have Ted join our team. His experience and community involvement fits right into the mission of our company and can only strengthen our presence throughout the Fairfield County market."
