Hamden ophthalmologist Jeffrey Gold sponsors food drive for CT food bank
Hamden ophthalmologist Dr. Jeffrey Gold is sponsoring a food drive leading up to this Thanksgiving. Anyone who would like to participate can receive a Comprehensive Eye Exam for only $39 ($150 value). And every penny of the $39 is being donated to the CT Food Bank.
"We are already getting a very positive response and we will be able to put some smiles on the faces of some needy families," said Dr. Gold. According to Dr. Gold, his office will also sponsor a "Toys for Tots" Drive for this upcoming Christmas to help needy children.
Stephanie Stevens of the CT Food Bank said that she was delighted with this effort by Liberty Vision.
