greenbox-is to open showroom and green learning center

Hartford, CT greenbox-is interior solutions, llc, plans to open a showroom and green learning center. greenbox-is is a distribution partner of prefab company DIRTT (doing it right this time) which decreases construction times by an average of 30%, lowers labor costs, and generates less waste than conventional construction.

Market sector clients particularly embracing the new construction methodology/solution are in healthcare, education, corporate, and life sciences. The system includes custom, pre-assembled walls, doors, branding, graphics, millwork, and electrical components which are installed inside built spaces. Most of the construction materials are made in North America, are recyclable or made from recycled materials, and help contribute to LEED certification for owners seeking this status.

greenbox-is interior solutions is a nationally certified woman-owned business enterprise led by Deborah Hopewell De Clercq, a 25-year veteran of the interiors industry. She is also president of De Clercq Office Group and a Knoll furniture dealer based in Rowayton and Hamden. “Expanding into the Hartford marketplace has been on our minds for several years and we have completed a number of area projects,” said De Clercq. “This is a sophisticated market with owners looking for innovative, speedy, cost-effective, and green building solutions. We look forward to welcoming owners and design professionals to our new regional showroom at 36 Huyshope.”
