New Canaan, CT Sean Grathwohl of David Adam Realty, Inc. sold “The Bank Building” a 6,417 s/f mixed-use former bank building at 87 Main St. for $2.45 million. The building, formerly occupied by a Thai restaurant for 15+ years, is located next to the town hall and is on a retail corridor.

Originally constructed in 1911 as a bank, with brick exterior and painted wood columns. The first floor (3,976 s/f of restaurant or retail) features high ceilings, large original windows, and access to a full-size basement for storage. The second floor (2,441 s/f) consists of offices with hardwood floors throughout. Recent upgrades include new roof, new rooftop A/C units, and new boilers. The property is near a Metro North train station and Merritt Pkwy., Rte. 7, and I-95.
