Goman+York Property Advisors negotiate four leases totaling 42,000 s/f at Founders Plaza, Hartford, Conn.

Goman+York Property Advisors has successfully negotiated four leases totaling 42,000 s/f of office space at 111 Founders Plaza: 17,000 s/f for Masonicare, 13,208 s/f for CDM Smith Inc., 9,000 s/f expansion for the Connecticut Children's Hospital, and 2,800 s/f for Adler Law Group, LLC. Space became available for CDM Smith Inc. when CareCentrix became the 5th company to win incentives from the governor's "First Five" program and agreed to relocate and expand later this year in downtown. The company will be vacating 32,000 s/f in total at 111 Founders Plaza. "We have already leased the majority of their space despite the fact that they have not vacated yet"said Tom York, a principal at Goman+York, agent for the building. "And given the current activity, we expect to lease the balance in the very near term." Situated across from the city's central business district, 111 Founders Plaza is a 250,000 s/f office high-rise offering best in class amenities including a full-service cafeteria, fitness facility, common conference room and ample free parking. The property is currently 95% occupied with over 50 tenants from 380 s/f to over 30,000 s/f. York has been agent for the property for over 14 years, handled the transactions for ownership. Peter Olans, president of Trident Commercial Realty represented Masonicare, the team of Bob Kelly of Cushman & Wakefield and Chris Crooks of Cresa represented CDM Smith Inc. and Colleen Sheridan of OR&L Commercial represented the Adler Law Group, LLC.
