Gilbane Building Company adds project executive Aureli in Boston office

Sam Aureli joins Gilbane Building Co. Sam Aureli, Gilbane Building Co.
Boston, MA Gilbane Building Company has added Sam Aureli as project executive. Aureli retains over 20 years of experience in design and construction management and has led significant construction projects (up to $350 million) in Boston and New York.  He has managed projects for some of New England’s leading higher-education institutions including Harvard University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. “Sam’s demonstrated leadership and significant industry experience in higher-education aligns with Gilbane’s client base and workload in the local market,” said Michael O’Brien, operations manager for Gilbane’s Boston operations.  “Sam offers a proven track record and his expertise is a key component to the implementation of innovative construction and operational excellence solutions for our clients in the Boston market.” Prior to joining Gilbane, Aureli served as a project manager at The Casali Group, and also served as senior project manager/project executive at Suffolk Construction for 10 years. He is a graduate of New York Institute of Technology.
