Scarborough, ME Gawron Turgeon Architects, P.C. (GTA) has named four new hires to its team.
Haley Huston joins GTA as an interior designer. A LEED Green Associate, Huston earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Endicott College and previously worked on high-end residential projects outside the Boston area.
Brenna Weisslender has been hired as an intern architect. Weisslender, who has a bachelor’s degree in architecture from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, has experience in healthcare, senior living, residential, commercial and institutional design.
Allyson Wyand, NCIDQ, brings expertise in healthcare and commercial design to her role as an interior designer at GTA. A graduate of Wentworth Institute of Technology, Wyand is a Maine Certified Interior Designer and a board member of the Maine Interior Design Association.
Sarah Wissler joins the firm as its new marketing director. She has a background in B2C and higher ed marketing/communications, and a degree from Bowdoin College.
“We are excited to welcome Haley, Brenna, Allyson and Sarah to GTA,” said Rebecca Dillon, principal. “Their enthusiastic, creative approaches to projects make them invaluable team members.”

Weston & Sampson earns award from ACEC for Arlington DPW job
Arlington, MA Weston & Sampson Engineers, Inc., has earned a National Recognition Award for exemplary engineering achievement in the American Council of Engineering Companies’ (ACEC) 58th annual Engineering Excellence Awards (EEA). The award comes for leading the renovation of the Arlington Department of Public Works (DPW) facility.
