Philip Gagnon, SIOR of Colliers Dow & Condon has arranged the sale of 197 Scott Swamp Rd. for DF Group LLC. DF purchased the property in 2004 and Gagnon leased the property to 100% occupancy in 2006. DF Group, based in Rocky Hill, has realigned a portion of its 200,000 s/f portfolio of properties in the Hartford area. "The opportunity to sell this asset in a tough environment for investment sales presented itself and we took it," said Marc Fontaine, managing member for the partnership. A private investment group from Fairfield acquired the property.

197 Scott Swamp Rd. is located on the Rte. 6 corridor of Farmington near the ConnectiCare headquarters. The corridor has seen renewed interest recently from major companies such as ConnectiCare, Stanley, and Hampton Inn (Buffalo Lodging) which recently built a new 124-room hotel further down Rte. 6.
