Freudenheim Partners signs 13,916 s/f in office leases at 308 Congress St. - Boston Children’s Museum

Boston, MA Freudenheim Partners has completed two new leases totaling 13,916 s/f at 308 Congress St., home to the Boston Children’s Museum. Silverman Trykowski Inc. (STA), an architecture and interior design studio, relocated from the Financial District to Fort Point Channel and is occupying 2,569 s/f on the 5th floor. In addition, Margulies Perruzzi, an award-winning architecture and interior design firm, renewed their lease on the 4th floor and will now be occupying 11,347 s/f.

Chris Rogers and Ellie Cullinan represented the landlord, Boston Children’s Museum, while Amanda Snell of The Stevens Group represented STA and Andy Hoar of CBRE represented Margulies Perruzzi in these transactions.

“Fortunately, the Seaport continues to outpace the Financial District,” said Cullinan, executive vice president of Freudenheim Partners. “308 Congress provides creative brick & beam space with beautiful views of the Fort Point Channel that has proven to be very attractive to the design community.”

“308 Congress offers a very unique opportunity to associate with Boston Children’s Museum,” Rogers said. “The building is almost fully leased with just a top floor opportunity still available. We have found that creative tenants really enjoy being part of the arts and culture Boston Children’s Museum promotes as well as taking advantage of the beautiful Boston harbor plaza located right outside the building doors.”

308 Congress St. is a six-story, brick & beam mixed use facility including office, retail and museum spaces totaling 179,000 s/f, with an additional 90,000 s/f of exterior waterfront space, which includes The Boston Harborwalk; a plaza designed with a maze for children to explore & a beautifully landscaped property. The property provides spectacular views of the Boston Harbor & Fort Point Channel and is a short walk from South Station.
