Freeman joins AlliedCook Construction as director of business development

Kevin Freeman has joined AlliedCook Construction as director of business development to lead the company's business development efforts in Maine and New Hampshire. With over 20 years of experience, Freeman brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the construction industry, managing the business development efforts, client relations and strategic positioning for a number of leading regional general contractors. Throughout his career, he has been instrumental in assisting firms to achieve significant growth and market diversification. In his role at AlliedCook, Freeman will be responsible for maintaining relationships, developing new clients, and working closely with the company's management team on strategic business planning and identifying new markets. "Kevin is one of the most experienced and respected professionals in the industry with an exceptional track record. A trusted leader in the business, his extensive knowledge, expertise and solid relationships will benefit both existing and prospective clients and allow us to better identify and meet their needs," said David Cook, president. Involved in numerous statewide organizations, Freeman serves on the Board of the USM Alumni Association, the Portland Regional Chamber of Commerce, the Portland Community Chamber, and Day One. He has also served as a member of the USM Advocacy Panel, Cumberland County Comprehensive Plan Visioning Committee, and the Town of Scarborough Comprehensive Plan Visioning Committee. Kevin co-chairs the PRC Public Policy & Legislative Affairs Committee, and is a member of the Greater Portland Business Executives and the Maine Real Estate Development Association. A native of Millinocket, Freeman earned his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Southern Maine. He also completed the Maine Development Foundation, Leadership Maine Omicron Class of 2008. He resides in Scarborough with his wife Michelle and their three children.
