Florence Bank promotes Lynch to senior vice-president/senior commercial loan officer

Florence, MA Florence Bank has promoted Michael Lynch to the position of senior vice-president/senior commercial loan officer. Lynch, who joined the team at Florence in 2004, will also now serve on the bank’s executive committee and continue in his role leading the commercial loan team. Prior to his promotion, he was first vice-president/senior commercial loan officer.

Prior to joining Florence, he held a similar position with another area lending institution. Lynch holds a bachelor’s of science degree in finance from Westfield State University. In December, he received a graduate leadership certificate from Western New England University.

John Heaps, president/CEO of Florence, said “We are very pleased to promote Mike to senior vice president. He is a true and proven professional whose contributions on behalf of our bank and our customers are invaluable.”

Lynch is active in the community. He is a trustee at the Holyoke YMCA, a member of the Easthampton Kiwanis Club and also a member of the Make-A-Wish Golf committee.

Currently, the Bank serves the Pioneer Valley through 9 full-service branch locations in Florence, Northampton, Easthampton, Williamsburg, Amherst, Hadley, Belchertown and Granby as well as through 27 ATMs and a loan production office in West Springfield.  Florence Bank offers a wide range of financial services including investment management through FSB Financial Group (FSBFG) to consumers and businesses.
