Flatley Company and Themeli Builders complete 100,000 s/f build-out for ING at Braintree Hill Business Center

Themeli Builders Inc recently completed a 100,000 s/f (2.5 floors) build-out for ING North America Insurance Corp. in Flatley's newest building, Braintree Hill Business Center, located in Braintree Hill Office Park. ING is currently in the process of moving from One Heritage Dr. in North Quincy. This is one of the largest office moves in the Braintree/Quincy market this year. The general contractor for the project was Themeli Builders, based in Holliston, which provides a full range of general contracting and construction management services throughout the New England region. With revenues of $30 million per year, they have a track record of completing 75% of their projects ahead of schedule. The build-out of Braintree Hill Business Center was completed in a record time of 80 days - two weeks ahead of schedule. The build-out includes a new 6,000 s/f cafeteria with a brick pizza oven. The cafeteria is located on the first floor and is run by Elena's Café. It is set up with audio visual facilities that can be used for seminars and large company meetings accommodating up to 200 people. The building has an integrated energy management system which controls all of the building systems including lighting and is anticipated to generate a savings of around 25% in energy costs when compared with older buildings. There is a full security and card access system and two high capacity generators servicing the tenants. Braintree Hill Business Center's hillside setting offers highway visibility, coupled with views of the Boston skyline, Quincy Bay and the Blue Hills Reservation. It is positioned as one of the leading alternatives to the high office rents in downtown Boston for companies that want to be located on the South Shore. The building has four stories of 39,000 s/f large open floor plates with 10-ft. ceiling heights and 30-ft. column spacing. Currently there is 47,000 s/f available for lease, including 18,000 contiguous s/f on the second floor. The on-site amenities offered at Braintree Hill Office Park encompass three full-service cafeterias with catering services, ample free parking, complimentary shuttle service to the Quincy Adams Red Line, day care center, gym, banks with ATM, extended stay hotel and a print and copy center. "The Flatley Company has a rich and deep history with the town of Braintree and we are pleased that the ING label will now adorn the signature site of Braintree Hill Office Park" said the mayor Joseph Sullivan.
