Fitzgerald of Symmes Maini & McKee honored as CoreNet New England's Designer of the Year

Marie Fitzgerald IIDA of Symmes Maini & McKee Associates (SMMA) was honored as designer of the year by the New England Chapter of CoreNet Global during the Chapter's 5th Annual dinner gala and award ceremonies held at the Seaport Hotel. "This award recognizes what Marie's clients and her colleagues at SMMA already know," said Ara Krafian, CEO and president of SMMA. "Marie is a talented designer and a personable leader. We hope this award spotlights these achievements for so many others to see." Fitzgerald, who joined SMMA in 1998, is vice president, director of interior design, and director of corporate and technology practice. She oversees design, project development and client satisfaction for the company's corporate, commercial development, tenant fit-up and interior design clients. Fitzgerald is a graduate of the University of Mass. Amherst, where she earned a BA in Interior Architecture. She is a member of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA), the International Facilities Management Association (IFMA) and the CoreNet Global New England Chapter. Her clients include EMC Corporation, Sovereign Bank, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Rhode Island, Talbots, and Nokia.
