Federico named a principal systems and communications engineer at Parsons Brinckerhoff
Anthony Federico has been named a principal systems and communications engineer at Parsons Brinckerhoff, a global infrastructure strategic consulting, engineering and program/construction management organization.
In his new position, Federico is responsible for performing special systems telecommunications design for buildings, campuses, and support facilities, as well as roadway tunnel systems and pumping stations. He has over 15 years of experience managing electrical design efforts for intelligent transportation systems projects.
Prior to joining Parsons Brinckerhoff, he was lead communications engineer on the FMG Railway project in Australia on behalf of GE Transportation in Boston. He previously worked as a lead engineer for the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority, responsible for design of security systems as part of the Boston tunnel portal surveillance program.
Federico received a master's degree in business administration and computer engineering from Suffolk University and a B.S. in electrical engineering, and electrical/electronics/communications from Northeastern University.
