Erland Construction to build corportate headquarters for Aspen Technology; 113,000 s/f in three buildings

Erland Construction has been selected to build out the new corporate headquarters for Aspen Technology. Relocating from Burlington, Aspen has taken 113,000 s/f in three buildings - one full and two shared occupancy - on Crosby Dr. Erland collaborated with Spagnolo Gisness & Associates architects on design-build services for the new façade at 20 Crosby Dr. which includes the addition of curtainwall at the east and west entries and a new aluminum screen to run along the east elevation of 20 Crosby Dr. Interior upgrades include new training rooms and customer showcase areas, conference rooms, labs and office spaces. The interior fit-out will also create interior passage between 20 and 22 Crosby Dr. Aspen Technology develops smart manufacturing and supply chain management software and services that tackle complex manufacturing process challenges. Employees will move into the new facilities in phases. The bigger of the two moves is scheduled for November 1, 2014 when Aspen will occupy 20 and 28 Crosby Dr. All employeesare expected to relocate to Bedford by February 2015.
