Erland Construction promotes Combs to advanced tech/life sciences group manager

Matt Combs

Burlington, MA Erland Construction has promoted Matt Combs to advanced technology/life sciences (AT/LS) group manager. Combs, who joined Erland in 2011, is a shareholder of Erland and has extensive experience in Greater Boston’s lab and life science industry. He brings a wealth of technical expertise and innovative solutions to the role, which results in predictability for their clients in managing these complex buildings and fit-out projects.

As group manager, Combs will provide oversight and guidance for all AT/LS project activities, particularly emphasizing collaboration, quality, client satisfaction, and employee growth and development. He has spent the past five years working with biopharmaceutical company EMD Serono on a multitude of complex projects, including the 150,000 s/f WELL Certified Platinum and LEED Gold Certified Horizon Building. Combs assumes leadership of a group that has completed over 600,000 s/f of life science space in the last year and has several lab/cGMP projects in the planning stages.
