Erland Const. completes renovation of 187,000 s/f office building for Trammel Crow and Saracen Props. joint venture

Erland Construction has completed the repositioning of 43 Foundry Ave., an 187,000 s/f office building for TC Saracen - a joint venture between Trammel Crow Co. and Saracen Properties LLC. The site is part of a larger, 500,000 s/f office park called CenterPoint that contains both office and lab space. Teaming with LaFreniere Architects of Cambridge, Erland completed this major renovation in just over one year. Improvements to the former Raytheon building include a new façade, all new HVAC units, new elevators, new toilet cores, and various architectural upgrades that make the building tenant-ready. The project also included demolition of three existing buildings and attendant sitework to create a park-like corporate campus with new parking spaces, site lighting, and landscaping. Erland Construction, with offices in Burlington, Massachusetts and East Windsor, Connecticut, is the region's leading open shop construction management, program management, design/build, and general contracting firm. The company has the specialized expertise for new construction, additions, and renovations in major market sectors including academic, residential, commercial, and healthcare.
