Erland completes 130,000 s/f Palomar Medical Tech headquarters

Erland Construction, Inc. has completed construction of the new 130,000 s/f corporate headquarters for Palomar Medical Technologies, Inc. Palomar acquired the site - located in the Network Dr. campus - from Nordblom Company, who assisted during preconstruction planning and served as the owner's project manager during construction. Spagnolo Gisness & Associates was the architect. Palomar's new structure features multi-level space. The north section of the building has a single-story manufacturing floor and the south section has three floors of offices and labs. Classified as non-surgical clinical areas, the labs require HEPA air filtration. The main entrance showcases a glass curtain wall, and aluminum panels. "Nordblom has been a longtime client of ours and we're happy that we had the opportunity to work with them again and to complete this important project for Palomar," said Erland's vice president and key account executive, Tom Blesso.
