EnviroVantage expands with opening of Westbrook, Maine office

For the past 27 years, EnviroVantage has been expanding, but with only one physical facility to house all of their resources. Now, they have decided to take their business to the next level. Although EnviroVantage has been doing business in Maine for many years, they knew that opportunities would multiply if they opened a second office in Westbrook. On July 24th, they officially celebrated their grand opening. The grand opening celebration took place on the front lawn of the newly renovated office, and tours of the facility were given to clients and friends of EnviroVantage. The office features a training room on the second floor, which is especially important to keep current and new employees continuously informed about the latest techniques, procedures, and regulations. EnviroVantage is truly grateful to have had representation from the ABC Maine and the Portland Chamber of Commerce at the event. Hope Perkins, president of ABC Maine, assisted in the ribbon cutting ceremony, and Tabitha Swanson, a board member for the Portland Chamber of Commerce, congratulated EnviroVantage and officially welcomed them to the community. Owner and president, Scott Knightly, said, "Maine is an essential component to EnviroVantage's continued growth throughout New England. Having worked in Maine from Lubec to Kittery over the past 30 years, it was time to make the commitment to Maine and its people by opening a full office and warehouse in Maine." We are excited to be part of the community that makes Maine a great State." EnviroVantage is a two time winner of Business of the Year and is New England's most trusted Environmental Contractor, providing services such as the removal of lead paint, asbestos, PCB's, and mold, demolition, disaster recovery, duct cleaning and more.

New England’s notorious weather – from fierce winter storms to summer squalls and fall hurricanes – can leave businesses in the dark. While power outages are often blamed on storms, they can also be caused by unforeseen events like accidents or construction mishaps. While it’s impossible to prevent disasters and power outages entirely, proactive preparation can significantly minimize their impact on your commercial building.

Investing in a falling rate environment - by Harrison Klein

Long-term interest rates have fallen by 100 basis points, and the market is normalizing. In December of 2022 I wrote an article about investing in a high interest rate, high inflation market. Since then, inflation has cooled off, and the Fed has begun lowering their funds rate.
