Durgin of Conway Commercial handles two sales totaling $2.485m

5 Canton Avenue - Milton, MA

Milton, MA Paul Durgin, vice president of Conway Commercial, brokered the sale of 191 Blue Hills Ave., and the former Cole & Gleason Funeral Home at 5 Canton Ave. Both sales signify that commercial sales continue at a steady pace in the suburban marketplace despite national stories of urban slowdown for commercial sales.

The property, with 4,200 s/f of space situated on .31 acres, is within walking distance of the MBTA Red Line, as well as the post office, banks, and multiple restaurants and shops in the Lower Mills section of Dorchester.

Durgin represented the buyer, Falconi Properties LLC, who purchased the building from Milton Village Properties LLC. Falconi plans to redevelop the property for office space use. The sale price was $1.85 million.

The property at 191 Blue Hills Ave. was built in the early 1900’s and has been the home of Milton Orthopaedic & Sports Therapy for over thirty years. It includes a commercial unit on the street level and two residential apartments above.

Durgin represented the seller, 191 BHP LLC , and procured the buyer Nick Realty LLC. The commercial space will be operated by Bay State Physical Therapy. The sale price was $635,000.
