Durgin of Conway Commercial brokers $2.7 million sale of Starland
Paul Durgin, vice-president of Conway Commercial, recently brokered the sale of Starland, the landmark South Shore recreation center on Rte. 53. Durgin represented the seller, RBS Properties LLC, and procured the buyer, Final Four LLC, which purchased the 30-acre sports and games facility for a sale price of $2.7 million.
The new owners will continue to operate Starland, expanding and updating the center to include a large indoor sports complex serving the needs of athletic teams throughout southeastern Mass.
Opening for business in the mid-1960s, Starland has provided entertainment to generations of families with its signature Go-Karts, batting cages, mini-golf course, driving range and indoor arcade. It is a popular venue for group events and celebrations.
Conway Commercial was established in 1956 as a division of Jack Conway & Co., Inc., one of the largest independently owned real estate companies in New England.
