Durgin and Ellis of Conway Commercial close two sales totaling $3.982 million
Paul Durgin, VP of Conway Commercial, recently brokered the $3.232 million sale of the Commodore Apartment complex on Rte. 3A. Built in 1978, the stately, Greek Revival-styled brick building is located on a major bus route and within walking distance of shops and restaurants.
The complex has 30 apartments, including ten 2-bedroom units, twelve 1-bedroom units, and eight studio units. The building has been well maintained by Corcoran Management Company.
Durgin represented the seller, Commodore Realty LLC, and procured the buyer, Robert Falconi.
Also, Dave Ellis of Conway Commercial recently brokered the $750,000 sale of 5.06 acres of land on the Hanson/East Bridgewater line.
The buyer, Senior Housing Development LLC, plans to build a 40,000 s/f assisted living facility and Alzheimer's unit on the site.
"The developer was attracted to the parcel because of its access to Rtes. 27 and 14 and close proximity to Brockton Hospital," said Ellis, who represented the seller, Alexander Family Realty Trust, and procured the buyer. "This was a good opportunity to expand their presence in the Southeastern Mass. senior housing market. Construction is already underway."
Conway Commercial was established in 1956 as a division of Jack Conway & Co., Inc., one of the largest independently owned real estate companies in New England.
Hingham, MA The Conrad Group has brokered the sale of 55 Research Rd., South Shore Park. The property consists of a 20,340 s/f single story manufacturing building on two acres of land.
