Diversified Project Mgmt. retained by Safety Ins. to manage renovation
Diversified Project Management, Inc. (DPM), a Newton-based construction management, facilities and move-planning firm, has been retained by Safety Insurance to manage its 104,000 s/f renovation and restack project.
Safety Insurance, a leading provider of automobile insurance in Mass., has renewed its lease for 104,000 s/f of space at 20 Custom House St. through 2018. The space will remain occupied as Diversified manages the construction and multiple relocations, allowing for minimal disruption to Safety's staff. Diversified also assisted Safety with its architect and general contractor selection process. Maugel Architects and Elaine Construction have been retained to provide the design and construction services.
DPM has previously managed relocation for a number of insurance companies, including OneBeacon Insurance, Aviva Life Insurance, New York Life Insurance, Manulife and Chicago Title Insurance, among others.
