DFH Real Estate closes on 4-acre site in Suffield for $220,000

DFH Real Estate, LLC recently sold a 4-acre site on the corner of Marketing Dr. and Rte. 75 for $220,000. Designs for Health manufactures and distributes nutritional supplements to the health care industry. The Suffield facility will be 23,000 s/f of office and warehouse space and will serve as its east coast sales and distribution center. The site provides the opportunity for a 20,000 s/f addition in the future. The new facility should be completed by the end of this calendar year. Sage Engineering, LLC of Westfield, Mass. is the design/build firm on this project. Representing the seller, Joseph F. Dewhirst, trustee, on this transaction was Dan Carstens of Merrigan & LeFebvre Realty, Inc.
