Delphi Construction begins Noquochoke Village housing development

Noquochoke Village - Westport, MA

Westport, MA Delphi Construction, Inc. has begun construction of Noquochoke Village, a affordable housing development.

The project is owned by The Community Builders, Inc. and was designed by DBVW Architects. The work comprises new construction of 50 affordable townhome style units in 7 buildings plus a community building on 5 acres in the south coast town. The property will feature a mix of one, two and three bedroom townhomes.

“The Community Builders is excited to be working with Delphi Construction to build new rental housing for working families in Westport. We are committed to creating a beautiful new community that Westport residents will be proud to call home,” said Eliza Datta, TCB’s regional vice president of development, New England.

Delphi Construction, a multi-market construction management firm with offices in Waltham and Cape Cod will handle all aspects of construction from site work and utilities to wood frame construction and finishes.

Tom Howes, project executive at Delphi Construction expressed his company’s excitement to begin the construction project which has a scheduled duration of 13 months. “We are very pleased to be undertaking another project for our frequent client, The Community Builders and to be working with the talented team at DBVW Architects in order to bring high quality, affordable housing to the community of Westport. The spirit of partnership that has defined the preconstruction phase has been outstanding. We look forward to continuing to work closely together with the client and architect to deliver a final product that exceeds expectations”.
