Stoneham, MA Dartmouth Property Management (DPM) has been awarded four more property management assignments to kick-off the 4th quarter of 2022; adding to the previous 10 assignments earlier in the year as it continues to expand its platform of third party property management services.

The Massachusetts based properties include One Montvale Ave. in Stoneham, 4 Robbins Rd. in Westford, 7 Railroad Ave. and 127 Eastern Ave. in Gloucester. They were acquired by Thibeault Development, a Boston based real estate investment & development firm.

“We appreciate the trust our client has given us to provide the highest level of service throughout this portfolio. We love working with clients like Thibeault Development and the diversified nature of these assets keeps it exciting for us,” said Chad Boulay, senior vice president with Dartmouth Property Management.

7 Railroad and 127 Eastern are both Shaw’s anchored retail centers with a combined total of 18 tenants. One Montvale is a 99,764 s/f office/medical building, located 8 miles north of Boston, who’s tenants include the FDA and MA Eye & Ear. 4 Robbins Rd, a maintained, two-story, 159,970 s/f Class A research and development facility is fully leased to Abbot Labs.

William Thibeault, president of Thibeault Development said, “In an extremely short amount of time, Dartmouth stepped right in and took over the management of these properties in a very efficient and professional manner.”

DPM will provide its full spectrum of services to these properties including property management, financial reporting and accounting, maintenance services, construction management and more.

“While we still have a long way to go in terms of our growth and diversification, it’s been a great year! Adding a mixed-use portfolio with retail, office and lab space is exactly the path we will continue pursuing,” said Boulay.

Investing in a falling rate environment - by Harrison Klein

Long-term interest rates have fallen by 100 basis points, and the market is normalizing. In December of 2022 I wrote an article about investing in a high interest rate, high inflation market. Since then, inflation has cooled off, and the Fed has begun lowering their funds rate.
