D.F. Pray promotes Raposa to chief financial officer

Seekonk, MA D.F. Pray General Contractors has promoted Jared Raposa to chief financial officer from his previous position as vice president of finance.

Raposa has been with D.F. Pray since 2014 and has more than 18 years of experience in the construction industry, having previously held operational and financial roles within the industry. As CFO, he will drive strategic planning, along with alignment of the company’s financial planning, risk management review, and financial analysis and reporting.

“Jared has been instrumental in raising the bar within our financial operations group,” said Scott Pray, president, D.F. Pray. “He has had a tremendous impact and continues challenging our teams to recognize and manage financial risk. We are excited about the continued influence Jared will contribute to this leadership position.”

Raposa retains an MBA, Finance from D’Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University, and a BS in Corporate Finance with a minor in Management from Bentley University. He is a LEED Accredited Professional and a member of Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA). Raposa is actively involved in the Pray Family Foundation, a non-profit organization with a mission to fund research to eradicate various cancers and support kind works in the community.
