Cutler Assoc. awarded construction contracts of $25m for two projects

Cutler Associates was recently awarded contracts to construct two new senior living facilities totaling more than $25 million. Crews recently broke ground on a 99-unit senior facility for the Visiting Nurse Association in Somerville, Mass. The $16.8 million complex will provide assisted and supportive housing for low to moderate income seniors. Designed by Chia-Ming Sze Architects of Boston, the project is scheduled to be completed in November. A 91-unit assisted living facility is under construction for Methuen Assisted Living. The $9.8 million, steel-framed project includes 24 memory-support and 67 assisted-living apartments. Designed by Henry Schadler Associates, the building is expected to be completed in December. With the addition of these two projects, Cutler currently has nearly 300 units of senior living under construction.
